Something Exciting Is Cooking…
For the past few days, my kitchen has been filled with more than the aroma of freshly baked bread and homemade pasta.
It has been filled with ideas, memories, late nights and an incredible amount of work.
I am delighted to share that my very first English cookbook, Velia’s Cooking Style, is almost ready.
This book is much more than a collection of recipes.
It is a journey through authentic Italian cooking, family traditions and the memories that have inspired me throughout my life.
Inside its pages, you’ll find homemade pasta, risottos, bread, pizza, focaccia, traditional Sunday lunches, colourful salads, delicious desserts and many of the recipes I have shared over the years during my cooking classes.
But you’ll also find something even more important.
The stories behind the food.
The people who inspired me.
The memories that have stayed with me.
And the passion that has guided me throughout my culinary journey.
Writing this book has been an incredible adventure.
Every recipe has been carefully written, tested and refined to make authentic Italian cooking accessible to everyone, wherever you are in the world.
This is only the beginning.
Many more books are already on the way, each exploring a different side of Italian cuisine, creativity and the wonderful experiences I have shared with students and friends from around the world.
I cannot wait to welcome you into my kitchen.
